The information on this page forms our terms and conditions and is in accordance with the The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. If you do not agree with anything here please do not continue to place your order with us.

How to order on-line

It's easy to shop online at Paper Cuts UK Ltd. simply adapt your tailored design or add the products you want to the shopping basket using the order button and proceed to the checkout when you're ready. You will be asked to register your address details with us - which will save you retyping these every time you visit (see Security and Privacy), you will then go to our Secure Payment area, managed for us by Protx. We accepts payment by the following credit cards:

Visa, Mastercard, Maestro

We only accept payment by debit/credit card through this website and do not accept payment via any other means.

You will receive a confirmation email of your order (as long as the correct email address was entered). Orders are dealt with strictly in the order they are received.

The Couture Range and design service is only available via a face to face consultation usually held in the shop.

Acceptance of your order

Paper Cuts UK Ltd. reserve the right to refuse any order submitted. Orders submitted by post will be returned to the customer unfulfilled. Orders with overseas delivery addresses will be cancelled and refunded as we do not currently offer overseas delivery.

Security and Privacy

Security is probably one of your most significant concerns when ordering over the internet. For this reason we use Streamline (part of the Royal Bank of Scotland group) and Protx (the UK's leading Payment Processing Organisation) for all your payment processing. Shopping through Streamline and Protx is completely secure. Paper Cuts do not have any visibility of your credit/debit card numbers, these are only handled by Protx and Streamline and they are not stored anywhere on our system.

We store your address and contact details for order purposes only and do not allow anyone else to use these details.

Stock availability & pricing

Our online shop works in the same way as a normal shop: if we do not have an item in stock when you visit, you will not be able to buy it. We do try to keep as much in stock as possible. In this way we hope to avoid any stock shortages, however this can sometimes occur. If this happens, your item will be marked as out of stock on your invoice and we will send it on as soon as we get it for no additional postage cost. We will send an email to customers who are awaiting out of stock items and you will be offered the choice of waiting for your item or receiving a refund.

Prices shown are in Pounds Sterling £ and inclusive of VAT. Paper Cuts UK Ltd has used all reasonable endeavours to ensure that prices for the goods are accurately set out on the web site but reserves the right to change its prices without notice at any time. Prices charged will be those prevailing when an order is accepted.

Refunds, returns & cancellation policy craft supplies.

If your goods arrive in a damaged or faulty condition, please email us to let us know within 7 days. orders@paper-cuts.co.uk. Please do not return goods without contacting us.

We will replace or refund the cost of the damaged goods as required. We will also pay the normal Royal Mail First Class/standard parcels cost of returning your goods.

Any shortages/discrepancies must be advised within 7 days of receipt of your order.

We will be happy to refund you for the returned items providing they are returned in their original condition with any sealed packaging unopened. You must pay the cost of returning the goods and you will be responsible for their safety during transportation (as stated above we will refund you this cost). When returning items please obtain a free proof of postage from the Post Office so that you can make a claim against them in the event of the goods being lost in the post.

If you ordered incorrectly and now wish to place another order this will be regarded as a new order and as such should be made through the website in the usual way which will include postage and packing at the standard rate.

When returning goods, it is your responsibility that they are packed so as to avoid damage in the post as goods must be received by us in a re-saleable condition. If any returns received are not in a re-saleable condition, we may only refund you 50% of the retail value of the goods. Where non-faulty goods are returned when the original order has qualified for free postage and packing, and the total order amount is therefore reduced to less than the free postage threshold, refunds will be given less the appropriate postage charge.

Refunds for returned items will be made through Protx to the account through which the purchase was made within 14 days of receipt of the returned item(s).

Refunds, returns & cancellation policy Wedding Stationery

After proofs have been signed off there are no refunds available for stationary.

Shipping

Unfortunately at the present time we do not accept orders from countries outside the UK.

Postage and packing is free on orders totalling £75 or more. A postage and packaging charge of £4.99 will be added to all orders up to £74.99, with the exception of Gift Vouchers.

Postage of samples will be free up to a maximum of 2 samples afterwards postage charges will be applied at standard Royal Mail postage rates.

Delivery

We aim to offer a fast efficient service, orders from the Make Your Own, Craft Supplies and favours range will be despatched within 7-14 days. Orders within the tailored section will be despatched to reach you on your specified date (please allow at least 6 weeks before your required date). If there is going to be a significant delay in despatching your goods (e.g. a large part of your order is out of stock), we will let you know by email immediately.

The delivery address that you provide should be one where someone is there in the daytime to receive the parcel - a work address is best where possible. This will ensure that deliveries are made without problems.
